Reaming shells
Reaming Shells are used to maintain the critical hole diameter and to stabilize the drilling system in the hole during operation. The reaming shell is part of an overall drilling system that includes a core bit, a core capture mechanism (the core barrel assembly), the drill string (rods) and the drill rig itself.

waterways, reinforced with PDC pins, facilitate effective flushing and contribute to long service life and good drilling economy for both reaming shells and drill bits.
Reaming shells are avialable in different designs:
10" Double ring reaming shell available only for BQ, NQ, HQ (need inner tube adjustment).
FH special heavy duty design for long life with extra stabilization.
STD (Standard design).
